Configuration guide - Camera EZVIZ

The configuration for the Access Point Name (APN) and Data Roaming on your EZVIZ 4G camera is managed within the EZVIZ App on your smartphone.


1. Setting the Custom APN


Follow these steps to manually set the APN to wbdata  with no credentials:

  1. Open the EZVIZ App and log in to your account.

    Navigate to APN Configuration:

    • If the camera is new and offline, begin the pairing process (scan QR code). When the connection fails, tap "Try APN Configuration".
    • If the camera is already added but is offline, go to Device Settings > APN Network Settings (or similar path depending on the model).

      Enter APN Details:

    • APN: Enter wbdata
    • Username: Leave blank (no username required).
    • Password: Leave blank (no password required).
    • Authentication Type: Select any option (e.g., None, PAP, or CHAP) since it is not required.
  2. Submit: Tap Submit or Next to save the configuration and allow the camera to connect.

2. Enabling Data Roaming


Follow these steps to enable data roaming if needed:

  1. From the camera's Device Settings in the EZVIZ App, look for Cellular Network Settings, APN Network Settings, or a similar option.
  2. Locate the option to Enable Data Roaming (or Activate Data Roaming).
  3. Enable the setting using the toggle switch or checkbox.
